Leah Sisson


Sisson enters her second season with the Canisius athletic training staff after joining the Golden Griffins prior to the start of the 2010-11 athletic season. Sisson will work with the volleyball, swimming and diving and men's lacrosse programs.

Sisson spent the 2009-10 athletic year as a graduate assistant at the Virginia Military Institute, working with the football program and men's and women's track and field teams. Sisson spent the 2008-09 year at Sacred Heart, working as an intern with football and women's lacrosse, and spent 2007-08 as a graduate assistant at Stanford working with football and women's water polo.

The Ivoryton, Conn. native graduate graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in 2007 with a degree in exercise science and concentration in athletic training. Sisson earned her master's degree in athletic training from the University of Virginia in 2010 after also performing graduate coursework at San Jose State University.
