Cochran holds BA degrees in economics and mathematics from Canisius. He is currently a consultant II at Bates White economic consulting, with potential plans to pursue graduate economic studies in his future. During his senior year, the department presented Cochran with its John S. Murphy Award, which recognizes a student who demonstrates academic excellence in economics.
