Pam Nicastro, MBA, MPA, SPHR HR Director for Catholic Health at Kenmore Mercy Hospital
Pam is the Human Resources Director for Catholic Health overseeing human resources at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. She has a combined experience of over 18 years in human resources and labor relations. She is an instructor for corporate education at Catholic Health. Her prior employers include the Internal Revenue Service, a local labor union and adjunct undergraduate instructor for labor relations, cost accounting and human resources. Pam has served as the chief spokesperson for negotiated collective bargaining agreements for labor and management. She is also experienced in grievance, arbitration, mediation and union organizing.
In 1995, Pam was invited to provide steward training to one of the largest health care unions in Chicago. She is a trained interest based bargaining instructor. She was appointed to a seat on the National Partnership Council for the Veteran Affairs in Washington, D.C. representing national union members from 1996-2000. Pam is the current President of the Buffalo Niagara Human Resource Association (BNHRA). Previously, she held the BNHRA board positions of Government Affairs Director
2007-2011, Workforce Readiness Director 2011-2012, President Elect from 2012-2013. She is a SHRM member, legislative advocate and mentor for the human resources profession.
Pam is an instructor for the Mini MBA and various HR programs at the CPD.
