The Web Services Office oversees more than 9,000 pages in the award-winning Canisius Web site which serves a diverse audience including prospective and current students, faculty and staff, alumni and donors, and the general public.
The Web Services team works with individual academic and administrative offices to create, edit, and maintain departmental Web sites in the site's Content Management System (CMS). Editors train college personnel on an as-needed and individual basis, and each semester through basic and advanced classroom training. They also work with Datatel to upgrade and enhance the functional ActiveCampus components of the site as new on-line tools are developed.

In 2002, an average of 183,000 people visited the Canisius Web site every month; in 2006, the monthly average was 516,000.
