Suzanne Crean
Assistant Web editor

Suzanne Crean joined the Web team as assistant Web editor in August 2005.  She worked on the award winning redesign of the college’s Web site.

A Buffalo native, she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University at Buffalo.  After completing coursework toward a master’s degree in print journalism from Boston University, Crean landed her first newspaper job at The Salem News. Her first assignment at the daily paper was writing obituaries. Eventually, she was promoted to community editor, a position that allowed her to write features and news stories.

In 2004, Crean completed her thesis which consisted of a series of first person columns and articles related to her experience training for and competing in her first triathlon.  She earned an MS from BU the following year. After living in Washington State’s Puget Sound region for a short time, she returned to Western New York missing the family, friends and food in her hometown.
