Frank G. Raichle Lecture Series

Not many college students can say they met a Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court or a U.S. Attorney General. But students in Canisius’ pre-law program have this privilege thanks to the Frank G. Raichle Lecture Series. Some of the most renowned figures in American law visit Canisius under the auspices of this lecture series.  Past speakers include U.S. Supreme Court justices, U.S. attorney generals and U.S. senators, many of whom spend the day at Canisius.  They host classes for students or meet with them during private receptions.

Bound together by tradition and a common interest in the law, this preeminent law fraternity promotes the development and advancement of young professionals.  The Canisius chapter sponsors a diverse number of lectures and panel discussions throughout the year to give students a better understanding of the law, the practice of law and law schools, so that they may make informed choices about their careers.  The Canisius chapter also travels to Washington D.C. to hear oral arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court, visits local law firms and law schools, hosts LSAT practice sessions, and is active in community service.
