Blue Light Emergency Telephones
Reporting Incidents
Jurisdiction Map

Several exterior Blue Light Emergency Phones are located throughout the campus (see map -- Adobe Acrobat PDF). These phones are easily identified by a blue light mounted directly above them. They can be used to report actual or suspected criminal incidents, fires and/or medical emergencies to Public Safety. They may also be used to request a shuttle van. To operate the phone, briefly depress and release the red button on the panel. The phone will automatically dial the Public Safety dispatcher. When the dispatcher answers, talk in your normal tone of voice to relay your message. If for some reason you don't respond verbally, a uniformed officer will respond to the phone location to investigate. Calls will automatically disconnect in 3 minutes.
