Fantastic Study Abroad Opportunity in South Asia
Spend a Semester at the Ateneo De Manila University in Manila, the Philippines (for next to nothing!!!)
Cost: $800 total in addition to Canisius Tuition
All scholarship and grant money will count toward this semester program
This program will include:
- Round Trip transportation
- All food expenses
- Lodging in an airconditioned, modern, secure apartment complex
- Full Time Tuition at the Ateneo de Manila University
- Pre-semester orientation seminar with Canisius professor Timothy Wadkins
- One additional week long trip to Indonesia or Vietnam
- Selected Weekend Trips within the Philippines
- Introductions to and tours of transnational corporations doing business in the Philippines.
- Mentoring by an Ateneo de Manila faculty person
This Program is a decidedly different kind of semester Abroad Program:
It is deliberately grounded in the “faith that does justice” mission of the Jesuits with a substantial focus on Filipino religiosity, immersion in poorer and marginalized communities, and the promise and perils of transnational business and globalism.
