NEW for 2010-2011!
Canisius College Living Learning Communities

Stress Relief Floor: The purpose of this floor is to provide a way to relieve stress and to enhance the college experience through the means of comedy based activites and other stress relief programs.

Health and Wellnesss Floor: Community for Canisius residents interested in pursuing a healthy and active lifestyle without the demands of committing to a sports team or club.  This group of 40 students will encourage other Canisius residents to participate in activities in an effort to creat a healthier, happier, and more sociable campus community.  Students of all levels of fitness are encouraged to join with the intention of becoming a better and more well rounded individual as a result of being an active community member.

Sig Ep Area: We seek to establish a Residential Learning Community here at Canisius, which will significantly improve both our membership development program and Canisius' residential experience.

Sophomore Science Floor: To live and work together as science majors by encouraging teamwork and a positive study environment to excel academically.

Sustainability Area: The Green Living Learning Community aims to embody sustainable living in a residence hall setting and to benefit its community through community service.  The community hopes to reduce the use of certain resources like water, energy, plastic and paper, and to educate other communities on how to attain this goal.

Information for applying to create a living learning community for 2011-2012 will be available in December.  Questions? Email Kathleen Farley at farleyk@canisius.edu.
