The Office of Residence Life supports the personal growth of resident students as they adjust to college life and as they interact with others in the residence halls, the college community and the surrounding area. Our office oversees 11 residence halls, which include cable television and high speed Internet access, local telephone service with voicemail and use of the campus laundry facilities at no extra charge. Housing options range from newly renovated, traditional rooms to modern apartment-style single bedroom townhouse units.
The college also offers specialty or theme-housing like the Intercultural Living Center at Campion Hall and Honor Housing at the George Martin House.
Students are encouraged to participate in the governance of the residence halls and to attend a variety of cultural, educational, social and recreational programs both on and off campus. Even on weekends there is a lot to do on campus. Resident assistants and hall directors supervise our traditional residence halls and apartment-style. All buildings are monitored by Canisius College's Public Safety Department.

Canisius Alert, is a notification system which will enable college officials to quickly notify students of an emergency, college closing or class cancellations.
