Canisius College

Freshmen move-in day will take place on Wednesday, August 24th between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm.  Upon your arrival to campus, you will be greeted by the volunteers who will make sure you are where you need to be!

Our Freshmen move-in process is extremely efficient.  Here is what you will have to look forward to when moving into the residence halls for the first time:

• Upon your arrival to our campus your vehicle will be tagged with the time and the room number you are moving into.
• Your vehicle will then be greeted by a team of volunteers to help move your items to you room. 
• Resident students will pick up their keys inside of Palisano Pavilion.
• Freshmen residents (only) will also check-in for Orientation while picking up their room keys inside of Palisano Pavilion.
• This process takes approximately 30 minutes.
• Once the vehicle is unloaded, you will then be directed to the college's parking ramp located only a few blocks away.

If you are unable to arrive to campus during check-in hours, the Office of Residence Life will be open for you to check-in between 2:00 pm and 10:00 pm.  Residence Life is located in the lower-level of Dugan Hall. There is no volunteer help after the designated check-in times.
