

The residence halls will not be closing for the Thanksgiving break period. Students are permitted to stay in the residence halls during this time as long as they register online in advance. It is important that you are aware of the following information.

Shuttle Services:
A shuttle service to the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport, Dick Road train station, and downtown bus station will be available to resident students on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 6 a.m. - 3 p.m. Students can sign up for the shuttle in the Residence Life Office in the lower level of Dugan Hall.
Residence Life Office Hours:
The Office of Residence Life will be open on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. The office will be closed during the break and will re-open with regular business hours on Monday, November 28, 2011. There will be a Resident Assistant on duty Tuesday, November 22-Sunday, November 28 from 5-10 p.m. in the Office of Residence Life. Should you need assistance when the office is not open, please call Public Safety at 888-2330.
Important Safety Information:
Please note that there are limited staff members and people on-campus during the break. Please be vigilant in observing safety measures such as locking doors and not walking alone. Take a serious responsibility for keeping yourself safe. Call Public Safety at 888-2330, if you observe anything out of the ordinary.
It is highly recommended that security alarms are activated in the off campus apartments during the break. If your apartment has an alarm and you are unsure of how it works, please contact the Residence Life office prior to your departure at 888-8300.
