Application Process
1. Complete the Canisius College Application for International Exchange Admission. Be sure that your name on the application matches exactly as it is displayed on your passport.
2. Submit all official transcripts from institutions attended. If you have already received a degree, please also include a copy of the diploma. These documents must be original or certified true copies stamped and signed by the issuing school. They must also carry the official seal of that institution. Documents that are not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation. The submission of falsified documents is considered grounds for declining your application.
3. Complete page 5 of the application, the Sources of Financial Support page with your sponsor. In addition, documentation of financial support is required for issuance of a visa eligibility form (I-20). Enclose original financial statements and an accompanying English translation (if necessary), demonstrating funding available for the period of study.
4. Complete the Physical Examination and Immunization Form for International Students. This should be completed and mailed in along with your application. If there are immunizations required on the form that you typically do not receive in your country, you will be able to receive these immunizations once you arrive. Please be sure that your physician completes the Physical Examination portion in English.
