The John T. Gabbey, MD Excellence in Athletic Training Award is named after former Canisius Team Physician John Gabbey. Dr. Gabbey was a teacher, alumnus, physician and most importantly, a friend to all he encountered. This award is given to the outstanding senior whose work both in the classroom and in the field is worthy of merit.
