Donato graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Elmira College in Elmira, NY, in 2000, and earned her master’s degree from Central Connecticut State in New Britain, CT. She worked with the school’s women’s soccer team as a graduate assistant. She served as an assistant athletic trainer for the Arena Football League Buffalo Destroyers in 2002 and also held the position of the head athletic trainer for the United Soccer League Connecticut Wolves.
Donato is a member of the national and the New York State Athletic Trainers association and served as an examiner for the BOC Certification exam. She also acts as an approved clinical instructor in the athletic training program at Canisius.
Donato currently lives in Amherst.
