Amy MillerAmy Miller is an assistant athletic trainer and approved clinical instructor. She earned a bachelor of science degree in athletic training, from the University of Charleston in West Virginia. Upon graduation, she earned the Thomas S. Templeton Memorial Atheltic Training Fellowship from the Center of Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics in Chattanooga, TN. As an athletic training fellow, she served as an athletic trainer at Notre Dame High School and the McCallie School, both in Chattanooga. From Chattanooga, Miller went on to attend the University of Kentucky where she earned a master of science degree and served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer.

Currently, Miller works with the women’s soccer and women’s basketball teams. She also serves as an adjunct professor within the undergraduate Athletic Training Program, teaching Nutrition for the Athletic Trainer and instructing within all the practicum classes. Miller serves as the site coordinator for the NCAA and Canisius College Drug Testing programs. She has also been appointed to co-clinical coordinator duties and serve as the alumni relations representative within the Athletic Training Department.

Miller served as a reader of candidacy materials for the JRC-AT. She is also an active member of both the national and New York State athletic trainers associations. She has contributed research to the profession and has presented at both the national and state levels.
