The Student Programming Board (SPB) is an extension of the Undergraduate Student Association. SPB organizes the majority of social events and activities for the Canisius community. These include the annual Spring Fest, game shows, concerts, semi-formals, speakers, and comedians. The USA Vice President for Programming is the head of this organization. All students are invited and encouraged to join and help in planning the fun on campus.

Comedic Hypnotist Dale K Saturday, August 22 8pm | Montante Cultural Center  Not your average hypnotist! Dale K's wacky physical comedy combined with his electrifying personality (and crazy hair!) creates huge laughs and great fun. |

Comedian Jim Breuer Sunday, August 23 8pm, doors at 7:30pm | Koessler Athletic Center  A native of Long Island, New York, Breuer got his start working in comedy clubs around the country before deciding to concentrate his talents on the New York club circuit. Shortly after his return to New York, he enjoyed a stint on the nationally syndicated "Uptown Comedy Club," where he remained for two seasons. Breuer earned fame on Saturday Night Live for his uncannyimpersonation of Joe Pesci and as the creator of such characters as "Goat Boy.” |

Fall BBQ Thursday, August 27 2:30pm to 4:30pm | Bart Mitchell Quad (rain location: Economou Dining Hall)  Come celebrate the beginning of the academic year at the annual Fall Barbecue, a Canisius tradition. The BBQ will begin immediately following the Mass of the Holy Spirit. This event is open to Canisius students, faculty, and staff.
