The Student Advisement Center (SAC) is dedicated to total student development, including intellectual and personal growth, by creating collaborative relationships between advisors and students. The SAC provides comprehensive advisement empowering students to take responsibility for their educational, career, and personal goals. Additionally, the SAC staff is dedicated to creating a supportive and friendly atmosphere where students feel comfortable seeking assistance.

The Office of Student Records & Registration handles all class registration transactions including requests for course withdrawal, grade processing, enrollment certificates, student loan deferments, and transcripts. It also publishes course and exam schedules each semester and oversees administering information for the Office of Veteran Affairs on campus.

The Tutoring Center provides academic support to undergraduate students at Canisius. The primary goal is to create an open atmosphere of learning for students who need one-on-one peer assistance. It assists students in a wide variety of academic disciplines through a variety of tutoring techniques by addressing the student’s individual needs.

Whether its help choosing a major, exploring careers, or developing job search skills, the staff is here to help students make the necessary preparations to achieve their goals and to ensure a successful transition from academic life to the working world.

The Office of International Student Programs functions as a center for the internationally diverse student population at Canisius College. International students face many challenges as they adapt to a foreign environment. To address these special needs, the Office of International Student Programs (ISP) provides extensive support services to enhance the students' experience at Canisius and in America. In addition, the office is continually improving and increasing the options made available to Canisius students interested in expanding their horizons. Students who study abroad say that it is a life-changing experience. Study abroad programs provide the opportunity to strengthen fluency in other languages, enhance knowledge of global relations and deepen the understanding of cultural and societal differences and similarities. Study abroad students at Canisius meet with the Director of International Student Programs to discuss their needs and goals for the semester overseas.
