Student Health Center staff recommends appointments for campus members seeking care in the Student Health Center.
Appointments guarantee a provider is available to see you.
Student Appointments
Students can use GriffMed, the 24/7 online student scheduler, to set up their appointment if they are sick or injured. To access GriffMed click here. Students will receive an e-mail confirmation of their appointment at on their GriffMail.
Students needing an appointment for a physical exam for class attendance or for immunizations, must call the Student Health to set up their appointment.
Students can call the Student Health Center at 888-2610 during regular business hours to schedule a sick or injury appointment.
Students are encouraged to call early in the morning if they need a same day appointment.
Walking in to the clinic without an appointment is discouraged since appointment availability may be limited and wait times longer.
Available appointment times may conflict with class or work schedules. It is the student's responsibility to notify faculty or employer if they will miss a class or work to keep a Health Center appointment. Click here to read the medical note policy.
Students should arrive in Student Health 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment to complete paper work and update medical information.
Cancellations
Students who do not wish to keep their appointment should cancel as soon as possible. This allows Student Health to offer another student your appointment time. You can cancel using GriffMed or by calling Student Health at 888-2610.
When clinic is very busy, students unable to get a same day appointment maybe placed on a will call list if cancellations occur.
Faculty/Staff/Visitor Appointments
Faculty, staff and visitors should call the Student Health Center at 888-2610 to schedule a nurse visit for blood pressure check, first aid or health advice.
GriffMed is a student only on-line scheduler and is not available for use by faculty, staff and visitors.
