Student Health Center Services
Student Health Center services are available to all currently registered graduate students, both full time and part-time (click
here for explanation of service). Services are offered to all students regardless of age, sex, race, disability, religion, health insurance status, ability to pay, national orgin, marital status, veterans status, or sexual identity.
New York State Immunization Requirements for Graduate Students
Measles, Mumps and Rubella
New York State requires that all graduate students, born on or after January 1,1957, and registered for 6 or more credits, to submit proof of immunity to measles, mumps and rubella.
Students born beforn January 1, 1957 should check that their date of birth is on file with the college registrar to prevent immunization holds for incomplete or incorrect birth date information in your student account.
Meningitis
All graduate students, registered for 6 or more credits, regardless of date of birth, are required to read information about meningitis and submit proof of vaccination or a signed refusal of vaccination.
Deadline for Submission of Information Graduate students have thrity days after the start of their first class at Canisius to comply. Student who do not comply will have a registration hold placed preventing further registration at the college. Graduate students residing in college housing will be required to leave housing for non compliance.

Health Insurance Canisius College recommends that all graduate students have health insurance.
