• Bowling -- Men and women participate in international league and tournament competition. Events include fundraisers.  Try-outs are held to choose those who will compete in matches.  Includes small fees for bowling expense.


  • Chess Club -- Chess Club promotes and enhances mental ability and a spirit of intellectual competition through the game of chess; to acquire proficiency in and to teach others the rules, tactics, strategies, and etiquette of chess. Events include intercollegiate and intramural competition. No criteria to become a member.

  • Fencing -– This club has been designed to provide students with a place to learn a new activity.  There are no requirements, only the enthusiasm to learn the sport.

  • Fusion Gaming Society  -- This organization unites the members of the college community through mutual enjoyment of multiplayer gaming experiences.  We came, we played, we leveled up!

  • Intercollegiate Horse Show Association -- Student riders are able to compete and succeed at their own level of skill and experience. Students can expand their knowledge about horses and riding, as well as volunteer for equine related causes.

  • Men's Club Hockey: Men's Club Hockey allows Canisius College students to participate in college hockey without having to compete at the Division I level.  For more information please e-mail the team at mhockey@canisius.edu.

  • Men’s Lacrosse -- This club allows students to participate in college lacrosse without having to compete at the Division I level.

  • Men's Volleyball -- This club sport provides Canisius men the chance to play volleyball at the collegiate level. Teamwork and hard work will be promoted to achieve success.

  • Rifle And Pistol -- This organization encourages safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improved marksmanship. Our further objective is to forward the development of those characteristics of honesty, self-discipline, team play and self reliance which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.

  • Ski -- Ski Club provides recreational snow skiing, snow-boarding and camaraderie among fellow skiers and boarders.  Events include weekly and annual ski trips.

  • Tennis Club -- Tennis Club provides Canisius College students an opportunity to play tennis with other students and to prodive Tennis education and tournament opportunities.


  • The Other Worlds -- This club provides a forum for discussion about science fiction, and promotes awareness of it within the Canisius community.


  • Women’s Crew -- This club provides Canisius students the opportunity to row at the collegiate level. Teamwork and hard work will be promoted to achieve success.


  • Women’s Field Hockey -- The Women’s Field Hockey team provides competitive, athletic activity in a fun and enjoyable environment.


  • Women's Ice Hockey -- This club is a competitive ice hockey program that gives Canisius College female's an opportunity to play organized ice hockey.


  • Women's Rugby -- The Women’s Club Rugby Team provides students with the opportunity to participate in rugby at the intercollegiate level.
