London Metropolitan University is just north of central London, minutes from the city and West End.  Canisius students are fully integrated into the academic and social life of the university and study with British students in lecture, seminar and tutorial classes.

Students live in two, three and four bedroom apartments in central London close to all main shopping and theatre districts.  The London Zoo, Regents Park and the markets and clubs of Islington and Camden are just a few of the neighborhood attractions.

Travel Opportunities

Major cities such as Edinburgh, Paris, Dublin and Amsterdam are within easy reach for weekend, end of semester or spring break travel. The London Metropolitian Study Abroad Office also organizes weekend riding and climbing expeditions in the beautiful Welsh mountains.

Program Costs

Fees (to be paid to Canisius):

Canisius tuition (approx. $15,990), study abroad fee ($500), and mandatory health insurance (approx. $180).

Additional costs (paid directly by the student) include housing in a centrally located, fully furnished London flat or in residence style housing through Nidostudentliving.com which has gym access, a café, and wifi.  A semester subway pass estimated at 240 pounds (about $400), board, transportation and miscellaneous expenses are also additional.

Currency conversion is estimated at 1 pound = $1.70
