Canisius College reserves the right at any time to amend or add to college regulations, including those concerning fees and methods of payment.
The college bills the student, rather than his or her parent(s). Each semester a student is issued a bill for tuition, fees, and room and board by the Student Accounts Office. Financial responsibility begins with registration for a course. Failure to attend will not cancel a bill. Tuition, fees, and room and board are due on the due date printed on the bill. If a bill remains unpaid after the due date without payment arrangements being made, a $300.00 late charge will be added. All money is credited on the day received, NOT the day mailed.
Canisius College accepts for payment cash, check (US funds only) and money orders. It is the College policy to write the student's ID number on the face of the check or money order to ensure accurate posting. By submitting a check, please be aware that you are authorizing Canisius College to use information on your check to make a one time electronic debit from your account at the financial institution indicated on your check. Funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day your payment is received and you will not receive your check back from your financial institution. Call the Student Accounts Office if you have any questions about electronic collection or options available if you do not want your payments collected electronically.
Payment can also be made online through the Student Accounts Office Suite. To access the payment suite got to www.canisius.edu, select the Current Students option and then On-Line Student Accounts Center.
A student's registration is not complete until tuition and fees have been paid in full to the Office of Student Accounts.
