academic programs

Each year, Canisius attracts more and more outstanding students. They expect and deserve a challenging academic experience, which requires additional resources including new faculty, expanded course offerings, and the latest technology and equipment.

Canisius continues to be a leader among institutions that develop new academic programs to meet changing student interests and societal needs. Recently, the Wehle School of Business launched undergraduate majors in accounting information systems and entrepreneurship as well as streamlined dual bachelor/MBA programs. The School of Education and Human Services works with the Buffalo Public Schools to offer our students valuable teaching experience in a variety of settings. And in the College of Arts and Sciences, students have the opportunity to conduct real-world research and present their work at major conferences.

Philanthropic support helps the college to develop and grow these and other new academic programs and enhance the value of a Canisius education.
