Canisius College

Please help Canisius build its rowing program by making a gift today.

Last March, Canisius announced the formation of an intercollegiate rowing program, with a women’s team competing as a Division I varsity sport and a men’s team competing at the club level.

With the assistance of the West Side Rowing Club (WSRC), the college has purchased two eight-oared shells, 20 sets of oars and 20 ergometers for indoor training.

While the newly purchased equipment provides a great foundation, substantial support is still needed for:

• Recruitment
• Team travel
• Equipment transportation 
• Regatta fees
• Spring training trips
• Equipment maintenance and replacement
