While high-quality academic programs remain the hallmark of a Canisius education, the Canisius experience is about much more than books and classrooms. Consistent with the Jesuit philosophy of cura personalis or care for the whole individual, we must provide for our students' emotional and spiritual growth. Likewise, with some 50 percent of undergraduate students living on campus and others close by, it is imperative we provide safe and constructive recreational and social opportunities. Philanthropic support helps us meet these important needs.
