To earn a Study Buck, Talent Search participants must:
- Attend at least 45 minutes of after school tutoring, or
- Attend an entire class period of in-school tutoring (can not be classroom assistance, must be a tutoring session), or
- Attend a workshop (workshop attendance earns 2 study bucks).
- You must have a minimum of 10 study buck to turn in each marking period, starting with the 2nd marking period. You can turn in more that 10 each marking period but the must be in increments of 5 (i.e.: 15, 20, 25, etc).
- Your grades must have improved at least 5 points in the area(s) that you are turning study bucks in for but grades must not drop significantly in other subject areas.
- Submit a report card showing the grade improvement.
Turn in your study bucks each marking period. Don't wait till the end of the year! No Study Bucks for the 2006/2007 academic year may be redeemed after 8/10/07. Remember to go to tutoring, study hard and save those STUDY BUCKS!
