The Tutoring Center provides academic support to undergraduate students at Canisius. We offer one-on-one peer assistance in all academic programs and majors. Our tutors use a variety of tutoring techniques which address the student’s individual needs.
A part of our mission is to work closely with faculty as well as other student support offices, such as the Disability Support Services, Campus Ministry, Student Advisement, International Student Programs, Residence Life and the Counseling Center.

Tutors are hired based on their academic abilities and their potential to work effectively with a wide range of students. Our tutors are very successful students who are recommended by faculty members.
