Guitars for Hope was a public art project consisting of 60 six-foot fiberglass acoustic guitars that were transformed into works of art by Buffalo area artists and national celebrities. Artists began working in the winter of 2005 and the completed guitars went on display in spring and summer of 2006. The project culminated with an auction to benefit Kelly for Kids, the Hunter’s Hope Foundation, and WNED-TV.
