The St. Augustine and St. Monica schools are single-gendered, faith-based middle schools, established to help students in the inner city succeed. These schools give hope to students who face tough financial and social pressures, which often cause academic failure. As a sign of their success, graduates are now attending many of the area’s top public and private high schools.
