Social Media Business Summit
The Canisius College Women's Business Center collaborated with Renee Martinez, board member and owner of Ruby Mar Com, to bring Buffalo's first social media business summit. The day was spent learning from internationally recognized speakers and brands about how they use social media to get results.

2012 SBA Small Business Week Awards
Congratulations! WBC clients and friends were honored at the SBA Business Awards Luncheon on May 9th as part of the SBA Matchmaker event. Clients Andrea Veres and Christina Yeates of the Waxing Studio & Spa were named the SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Region II, New York State and the Buffalo District. The Women's Business Center also recognized Melissa Parrish of Lovely Day Photo.
