WMBE Certification Webinars
New York State spends approximately $6.5 billion annually just on goods and services. The Directory of Frequently Purchased Commodities and Services by New York State Agencies is one way to ensure a level playing field for companies to compete for opportunities to do business with the State. The Directory provides information on and website links to State agency contacts, procurement and payment guidelines, and helps vendors learn how to do business with State agencies.
By reviewing this information, businesses can identify possible opportunities and taxpayers can better understand how their money is spent.
The Canisius College Women's Business Center, together with Empire State Development and Erie County will assist small business owners to understand the Women & Minority Business Enterprise Certification (WMBE) process and the value of becoming certified with the City of Buffalo, Erie County and New York State.
