Canisius Volunteer Opportunities

In this time of crisis, many students, faculty and staff are asking how they can help. Some are developing online resources for home schooling parents or providing advice to small business owners. Schools and non-profit organizations are also seeking our help. The New Buffalo Institute will post resources to help the Buffalo community through these difficult days and also provide a listing of volunteering opportunities for our community members as we become aware of them with contact information.

Community Volunteer Opportunities

716 Ministries We have finally opened back up to receive volunteers! We do not have virtual volunteer options at this time, but we can host in-person volunteer groups. The majority of our volunteer opportunities include light physical work, such as painting, demo projects, cleanup jobs, etc. The location varies depending on the most current projects on our docket. We can accommodate volunteers Monday - Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm. Groups (between 5-15 individuals) can sign up for a one-time shift or recurring shifts. We ask that groups commit to at least 3 hours per shift. Interested? Contact Rebecca Hannon at info@716Ministries.org
