To realize Canisius 150’s goals for excellence in academics, an engaged campus community, and a thriving, sustainable future, a Facilities Master Plan has been developed to address the physical development of the campus consistent with these goals over the next 10-20 years.
The Canisius College Facilities Master Plan provides a roadmap for major capital investments, intermediate projects, and maintenance and refresh projects to be complete over the near and long-term. Through a dedicated committee of administrators, faculty, and students and with the broad engagement of the campus community, a rigorous process was undertaken to assess space needs and to identify and prioritize capital improvement projects. The plan attempts to balance the major capital projects with essential refresh projects and recognizes that flexibility is required to adapt to changing circumstances, financial resources, and priorities.
This plan was approved by the Board of Trustees on May 6, 2019 and will be regularly monitored and updated as needed.
