“BEHIND THE SCENES WITH THE GOLDEN GRIFFIN FUND” FOCUS OF LIVE WEBINAR AT CANISIUS

Buffalo, NY – The Office of Alumni Engagement will host its first event of the spring semester in its Connecting with Canisius Webinar Series on Wednesday, February 24. The webinar, titled “Behind the Scenes with the Golden Griffin Fund,” will start at 12:00 p.m. Denise Rotondo, PhD, Dean for the Wehle School of Business, will moderate the discussion. The February edition of Connecting with Canisius will feature a panel of the college’s 2020-2021 CFA Institute Research Challenge Team, a group of five seniors, who will compete in the famed 2021 CFA Research Challenge competition. The panelists participating are:

  • Deu Awuok ’21
  • Tim Shubsda ’21
  • Michael Steffan ’21
  • Nicholas Szabo ’21
  • Tucker Weppner ’21

Two advisors, Richard Wall PhD, CFA, professor emeritus and Steven Gattuso '87, MBA '88, CFA, CFP, CMA, executive director of the Golden Griffin Fund (GGF) and assistant professor, will share a history of the GGF and speak on the current curriculum.
