ArtsCanisius Presents Spring Events

BUFFALO, NY –  ArtsCanisius presents its April events, which are free and open to the public, unless otherwise specified.

  • Friday, April 24The Canisius University Chorale performs, under the direction of Frank Scinta, at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center.
  • Saturday, April 25The Canisius University Concert Band performs, under the direction of Paul D. Biddle. The Canisius University Jazz Ensemble also performs, under the direction of David DeWitt, at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center.
  • Sunday, April 26The Canisius University Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Ansgarius Aylward, performs at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center.
  • Wednesday, April 29 – “When Classes Collide,” a student opera workshop production directed by Melissa Thorburn, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center.

The ArtsCanisius series at Canisius University presents concerts by professional musicians, including members of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Canisius faculty, art shows and lectures by professional artists, as well as student recitals.
