Award-winning Play Comes to Marie Maday Theatre

BUFFALO, NY - Red Thread Theatre, the production company of Canisius University Theatre Artist-in-Residence Eileen Dugan, will present the award-winning play “Frozen” in the Marie Maday Theatre from May 18-June 3. Performances will be held on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. 

Written by Bryony Lavery, “Frozen” tells the story of the disappearance of a 10 year-old girl (Rhona). The play follows Rhona’s mother (played by Dugan), the murder who took Rhona and the psychiatrist who studies whether serial killers can help themselves. Over the course of years, the audience learns what happened to young Rhona, what happens to the man who took her, and the path to forgiveness and life taken by the mother.
