Business First Recognizes Strength and Reputation of Canisius MBA Programs

July 25, 2018

BUFFALO, NY – The latest ranking by Buffalo’s Business First showcases the strength and reputation of the Canisius University MBA programs.  Canisius ranked No. 3 on Business First’s list of “largest MBA schools” in the Buffalo and Rochester regions. Results are based on enrollment numbers.  Canisius University has a total enrollment of 265 students in its MBA programs (133 full-time; 132 part-time).

“The market for MBA education is very competitive and most students decide based on a program’s reputation and potential to advance their careers,” says Dean Denise M. Rotondo, PhD.  “The fact that Canisius has the third largest MBA program in the region is testimony to our quality and ability to help students achieve positive returns on their investment.”

The college offers three MBA programs: the Flexible MBA, the One-Year MBA and an MBA in Professional Accounting.  All are housed within the Richard J. Wehle School of Business, which holds AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation – a standard achieved by fewer than five percent of business schools worldwide.

The Richard J. Wehle School of Business at Canisius University develops business professionals to lead within their organizations, to excel in the globally competitive marketplace, and to behave as ethically and socially responsible individuals.  All of this is achieved through teaching excellence, intellectual vigor and community involvement in the Jesuit tradition.

One of 28 Jesuit universities in the nation, Canisius is the premier private university in Western New York.
