Canisius University Hosts Alumni Pilgrimage to Cuba

BUFFALO, NY – The Institute for Global Engagement (IGE) at Canisius University presents an excursion to Havana, Cuba this January 1-3, 2019. The trip, entitled “In the Footsteps of the Jesuits: Fidel, Jesuit Values and the Cuban Revolution” is part of the IGE’s “Road Less Traveled” pilgrimage program.

Participants of the program will immerse themselves in Cuba’s culture through visits across Havana while gaining a deeper understanding of the Jesuit background that surrounded Cuba during the time of its revolution. Cuisine, music, religious practices, art and architecture center around every aspect of this trip of a lifetime.

The cost for the trip is $3,200 and includes airfare, room and board. Registration is due by November 1.
