BUFFALO, NY − The Canisius University Center for Professional Development, 300 Corporate Parkway, Amherst, will offer an Essentials of Human Resource Management Certificate Program. Offered in conjunction with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the six-week course will be held Wednesdays, October 10 through November 14 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
This introductory course is for entry-level human resource professionals, small business-owners or those interested in the human resource field. Topics include:

- Compensation and benefits
- Employee development
- Performance management
The course fee of $625 includes the SHRM Essentials of HR Management Certificate Program manual and a Participants Activities Book.
