In joyful celebration of the 150th anniversary of the founding of Canisius College, and in recognition of the extraordinary impact of the college on our community, the Canisius Board of Regents proudly announces Canisius 150: A Blue & Gold Gala on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo.

The Gala promises to be the most special night of the most special year in the storied history of Canisius College. We will rejoice in and celebrate the college’s rich history of commitment to Western New York through unwavering standards of academic excellence established by German Jesuits in 1870.

Canisius 150: A Blue & Gold Gala, part of our yearlong sesquicentennial celebration, is taking a different spin from our traditional Regents Ball. Guests will be dazzled and delighted, starstruck and entertained with a special celebrity performance by legendary singer and songwriter Tony Orlando! It will be an unforgettable night and one not to be missed!

Proceeds from the Gala will support Canisius Fund 150, the college’s sesquicentennial fundraising campaign that addresses the greatest needs of the college and our students. Your support will fund academic program development, capital projects and student scholarships.

Blue and Gold Gala committee co-chairs, Timothy Balkin ’81 and Michael Christiano ’83 encourage you, during this historic year, to pledge to make a difference in the lives of our students!
