Patrick is New Executive Director of the Center for Professional Development

BUFFALO, NY ― Canisius University named Jennifer M. Patrick, MBA ’00 as the new executive director of the Center for Professional Development (CPD). Patrick is responsible for project management, quality management and resource allocation for both custom and open enrollment programs. She develops and implements strategy for open enrollment programs and marketing for increased promotion and visibility of Canisius University to the business community.

Wehle School of Business. “Her broad and deep leadership experience, coupled with her entrepreneurial mindset and passion for Canisius and Buffalo, will ensure that the CPD remains the preeminent professional development and executive education organization in the Buffalo-Niagara region.”

Patrick contributes directly to revenue and profit performance by building relationships with open enrollment customers to secure new sales with both existing and new accounts, develops relationships with new customers through follow-up on CPD requests for information and marketing initiatives, and coordinates, schedules and establishes financial arrangements with qualified resources to deliver CPD open enrollment programs.

She previously was consultant and owner of Brevity Pajent Consulting. Patrick’s firm provided strategic planning, business development, training and board governance consulting services to local regional and national clients in associations, arts, health, non-governmental organizations, manufacturing, environmental and social service sectors. She has also served as manager of Niagara College, where Patrick restructured a business-graduate mentorship program resulting on 100 percent placement success across the province. More than 300 businesses and 300 graduates participated.

Patrick holds a bachelor of social science degree in history from Carleton University of the University of Western Ontario and a master’s degree in business administration from Canisius University.
