Quick Books Courses for Beginners & Experts

BUFFALO, NY - The Canisius University Women’s Business Center (WBC) will offer two QuickBooks courses on Tuesdays, June 5 and June 12 from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Canisius University Center for Professional Development, 300 Corporate Parkway, Amherst. QuickBooks is a small-business financial software program that simplifies sales and expense tracking to ensure small businesses have reliable records for tax preparation.

QuickBooks Overview will be offered on June 5. Participants will learn about the benefits of QuickBooks, how to set up a company profile, practical applications, and how to use QuickBooks to manage their businesses. 

QuickBooks for Existing Users will be offered on June 12. Participants will learn QuickBooks various reporting functions, how to optimize bookkeeping functions, and how to integrate of QuickBooks with their specific businesses. 

The course instructor is Lisa Kirisits, CPA, MBA, managing director of Kirisits and Associates. She is a certified public accountant with more than 20 years of experience. Kirisits provides accounting support to businesses and not-for-profit organizations, including financial reporting, compliance, budget preparation, accounting software support, strategic planning and CFO services.
