Three Canisius Alumni Receive Magis Medals

Frederick G. Attea ’61, Robert Greene ’66, and Megan Brenner-Zwara ’10 are the recipients of Magis Medals from Alpha Sigma Nu national Jesuit honor society in celebration of the Society’s centennial anniversary. Magis Medal awardees were chosen for their scholarship, loyalty to Jesuit ideals and service to others.

Attea and Greene, both partners at the law firm of Phillips Lytle LLP, and Brenner-Zwara ’10, the Western New York recruitment coordinator for Americorps Build Lives through Education (ABLE) are among 100 members of Alpha Sigma Nu to receive Magis Medals.

Frederick Attea was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu in 1960.

Robert Greene was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu in 1965

Megan Brenner-Zwara was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu in 2009

Alpha Sigma Nu, the honor society of Jesuit institutions of higher education, recognizes those students who distinguish themselves in scholarship, loyalty and service.
