John F. Somers, President and CEO of Harmac Medical Products Inc.

The Richard J. Wehle School of Business established the Business Executive of the Year Award in 1969.  This award is presented to a WNY business executive who has earned distinction professionally and as a leader in a broad range of civic affairs.  Canisius College is proud to name John F. Somers the 2019 Business Executive of the Year.

The Martin Award was established in 1976 by the Board of Directors of the Master of Business Alumni Association. The award recognizes a distinguished alumnus of the college's graduate business programs who has excelled professionally and provided significant service to the community. Canisius is proud to present the 2019 Dr. Bernard L.
