Communication and Leadership Extended Learning Opportunities
Students will conduct research and work with faculty on their final capstone paper. This process can often lead to opportunities such as being published or presenting at conferences, including the Eastern Communication Association.
Community Based Learning
This type of learning is incorporated into a majority of the courses allowing for mutually beneficial relationships between students and community organizations.
The communication and Leadership program is a tight knit group of individuals and has a strong alumni network. We hold several events throughout the year that allow for current students to meet and interact with alum and build relationships. We also co-sponsor events with organizations such as Women on the Rise of Buffalo which allows for networking opportunities with other professionals in the WNY area.
