Differentiated Instruction Collaborative Opportunities
Canisius For Kids
The graduate program culminates with a week-long summer practicum called Canisius for Kids (C4K). This is an interdisciplinary summer camp for kids promoting the use of creative-thinking skills. Open to all WNY-area students entering grades K-8, this camp pairs certified teachers trained in differentiated instruction with students looking for rich, engaging activities that integrate art, music, and technology with math, science, history and language arts.
Program graduate Alayla Henry designed an Enrichment Program for her charter school and shared this program at the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) Annual conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
