Field Experience
Our TESOL Program offers the flexibility to complete fieldwork in schools across the United States and internationally gaining hands-on experience teaching English language learners. The online format provides the flexibility to complete coursework during a timeframe that is convenient for you. All programs are designed to accommodate the schedules and needs of full-time professionals. The TESOL program coursework is structured to promote your professional growth and career goals. The fieldwork is completed in a school setting of your choice, aligned with your personal goals for your graduate studies. Educational partners throughout New York State work with our students to provide high quality, meaningful experiences working in classrooms providing instruction to English language learners. Students teaching full time have the option to participate in summer programs to gain invaluable experience teaching in TESOL/Bilingual classrooms. Technology is utilized for field observations and to participate in our TESOL/Bilinguals programs from any location around the world.
