The Explore Canisius program gives students the opportunity to earn transferable college credit while in high school. The program allows academically qualified high school students in their junior and senior year a chance to experience taking a college level course on our campus. This is a great opportunity for students that are looking to take a more challenging course not offered at their high school or just looking to earn some college credit.
-Reduced tuition of $300 per course plus the cost of books
-Program is available to high school juniors and seniors with a cummulative 3.0 GPA
-Students cannot enroll in more than 2 courses per semester
-Students are eligible to complete a total of 5 courses, totaling 15 credits
-Students are eligible to take courses during the summer, fall and spring semesters
-Download, print and complete the Explore Canisius application
-All applications must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each semester
-Submit the application and required application materials to the Undergraduate Office of Admissions
-Once all application materials are received and admission to the program is granted, students will be contacted to determine which course(s) they are interested in taking
-A mandatory mini-orientation will be held on campus prior to the start of classes
