The Introduction to Finance course satisfies the following learning goals and objectives associated with the Bachelor’s degree in Business:

Goal 2: BSBA graduates will have fundamental skills in accounting, finance, statistics, and management science.

Objectives:  Students will be able to:

A.     Demonstrate critical thinking and argumentation skills with emphasis on problem identification from various viewpoints, causal diagnosis, and solution development.

D.     Perform and interpret standard accounting and financial computations, including cash flow and time-value-of-money calculations, cost-benefit analysis, and capital budgeting to evaluate the merits of a proposed investment.
